Orakei Basin Walkway
Another sunny day in Auckland.
The Orakei Basin Walkway is a built walkway with board walks and bridges linking together the trails around the tidal basin.
The tide is in.
A lone waterskier and some jet skis share the basin with a few swimmers.
Come, walk with me.
At the beginning the boardwalk runs parallel to the train track. Native plantings screen the rail track.
The Orakei stream - people out kayaking in the distance.
Plenty of steps.
