Abel Tasman Coast Track - Day two, Bark Bay to Awaroa 13.4km

We wake to a golden early morning.

Later today we have a low tide crossing so we enjoy the Bark Bay hut environs for the morning. I enjoy chatting with our international Bark bay hut companions.

We watch the incoming tide float the yachts, let the rain showers pass and begin our walk at midday.

Abel Tasman Track - Day one Marahau to Bark Bay 23.1km

It's a very early start for our pack-laden half marathon to Bark Bay DoC hut on the Abel Tasman Coast Track.

Tides dictate our plans. We can only cross some estuaries within a couple of hours of low tide.
